🇮🇹 IMPORTED FROM ITALY
⚙️ BRONZE DIE CAST
✓ ALL THREE SHAPES
Three Shapes. Three Italian Traditions. One Box.
The Marry Me Pasta Sampler contains all three shapes in the Marry Me pasta range — spaghetti, penne, and rigatoni. Each is 100% durum wheat semolina, bronze die cast, and imported from Italy. Each is designed to work with a specific style of gourmet sauce. Together they cover every major Italian pasta occasion: the long-strand Neapolitan classic, the ridged Roman tube for spicy and creamy sauces, and the wide bold rigatoni for the most robust dishes in the range.
Start here. Learn which shape works best with which sauce. Then stock up on your favourite combination. The sampler is the obvious first step — and the best gift for anyone who takes Italian cooking seriously.
What’s in the Sampler

🍝 Rigatoni Wide ridged tube, straight cut. Maximum surface area for bold, chunky sauces. Cook: 12 minutes |
All three: 100% Durum Wheat Semolina · Bronze Die Cast · Imported from Italy · Vegan
Why Bronze Die Cast — Across All Three Shapes
Most pasta you find in supermarkets is extruded through Teflon dies. The surface is smooth and glossy. Sauce slides off it. You end up with pasta and sauce as separate things rather than a unified dish — no matter how good the sauce is.
Bronze die cast pasta uses the traditional Italian method. The rough bronze dies create a slightly porous, textured surface on every strand and tube. Sauce clings to it. Stays on it through the full meal. The pasta water method — adding a splash of starchy cooking water to the sauce as you toss — works better with bronze die cast because there’s more surface for the emulsification to hold.
Combined with 100% durum wheat semolina — the hard Italian wheat that produces real al dente texture and bite — this is pasta that behaves the way pasta should. The quality of the Marry Me sauces deserves pasta that can hold them properly.

The Method That Works for All Three Shapes
The Italian Technique — Applied to Every Shape
- Salt the water generously — always. It should taste of the sea. This applies to all three shapes. Salted water seasons the pasta from the inside during cooking — no amount of sauce can compensate for undersalted pasta.
- Rolling boil before the pasta goes in. Drop the pasta into vigorously boiling water and maintain the boil throughout cooking.
- Spaghetti: 10 minutes. Penne and Rigatoni: 12 minutes. Test at the lower end — al dente means a slight resistance at the centre when bitten.
- Save a cup of pasta water before draining. This is the most important step most home cooks skip. The starchy cooking water emulsifies with the sauce, creates a glossy coating, and makes it cling to the bronze die cast surface of the pasta. Never skip it.
- Finish in the pan — not in the bowl. Drain and add directly to simmering sauce with 2–3 tablespoons of pasta water. Toss for 60–90 seconds. The pasta finishes cooking in the sauce and absorbs its flavour. Serve immediately.
Never rinse pasta after draining. The surface starch left on bronze die cast pasta is what bonds with the sauce. Rinsing it off removes the most functional element of the method and reduces a great pasta to an ordinary one. Drain and go directly into the sauce.
