Built for Bold Sauces. The Largest Grip in the Range.
Marry Me Pasta Rigatoni is the shape for sauces with personality. Wider than penne, straight-cut rather than angled, deeply ridged from end to end — rigatoni is designed for the kind of bold, chunky sauces that need maximum surface area to cling to. Every ridge holds sauce. Every tube fills with it. The result is a dish where the pasta and sauce function as one rather than two things served together.
100% durum wheat semolina, bronze die cast and imported from Italy. The rough bronze-extruded texture amplifies what the shape already does — more grip, more sauce contact, more flavour in every bite. Designed specifically to work with the bolder end of the Marry Me sauce range.
Why Bronze Die Cast on Rigatoni Makes the Biggest Difference
Rigatoni has more surface area than any other pasta in the range — more ridges, more tube interior, more contact points between pasta and sauce. Bronze die cast extrusion means every one of those surface points is rough and porous rather than smooth and glossy. The difference between a bronze die cast rigatoni and a Teflon-extruded one is the difference between a sauce that stays in place through the full meal and one that’s pooled at the bottom of the bowl by the second forkful.
100% durum wheat semolina gives the tube structural integrity at al dente — wide enough to fill with sauce, firm enough not to collapse under it. This is the pasta shape that rewards the best sauce with the fullest expression of it.
Sauce Pairings — What Goes With Rigatoni
Rigatoni’s wide ridged tube is purpose-built for bold, chunky, or cream-based sauces — anything with enough body to fill the tube and enough texture to grip the ridges.
| 🌶 Marry Me Arrabbiata — Outstanding Pairing
The spicy Roman sauce fills the wide tube and coats the ridged exterior. Rigatoni all’arrabbiata is less traditional than penne but arguably more satisfying — the wider tube delivers more sauce per bite. |
🍷 Marry Me Alla Vodka — Perfect Pairing
Creamy vodka sauce and wide rigatoni tubes are a natural match — the sauce pools in the tube and the cream coats the ridged outside. Rich, indulgent, and one of the most satisfying pasta dishes you can make in twenty minutes. |
| 🍅 Marry Me Marinara — Solid Pairing
Marinara in a rigatoni tube is a generous, satisfying dish — less traditional than spaghetti marinara but excellent when you want the clean San Marzano flavour with more structural bite. Finish with Parmigiano. |

How to Cook Marry Me Rigatoni — The Right Way
The Method Italian Cooks Always Use
- Salt the water generously. Generously means it tastes of the sea. This is essential — rigatoni’s wide tube absorbs the cooking water and with it, the seasoning. Undersalted water means underseasoned pasta that no amount of sauce can fix.
- Bring to a rolling boil before adding rigatoni. The wide tube needs vigorous water movement to cook evenly throughout.
- Cook for 12 minutes to al dente. Rigatoni needs to be firm enough to hold its shape when tossed in the sauce — slightly undercooking before the pan finish gives the best result.
- Save a generous cup of pasta water before draining. The starchy cooking water is the ingredient most home cooks skip — and it’s the one that makes the biggest difference. It emulsifies sauce, creates gloss, and makes it cling to the ridged exterior properly.
- Finish in the pan. Drain and add directly to simmering sauce with 3–4 tablespoons of pasta water. Toss for 60–90 seconds. The rigatoni absorbs the sauce, the starch binds everything, and the dish comes together the way it’s supposed to. Serve immediately.
The pasta water step matters most with rigatoni. The wide tube creates more surface area for sauce to coat — which means more need for the emulsification that pasta water provides. A splash of pasta water turns a good rigatoni dish into a great one.
