Three Sauces. Three Italian Traditions. One Easy Decision.
How It Started with Mila & Harry.
Harry wanted to sell one sauce and do it perfectly. Mila said that was a beautiful idea and completely wrong. “The whole point,” she said, “is that different nights call for different moods. You wouldn’t wear the same thing every day. You shouldn’t cook the same sauce either.”
Harry, to his credit, came around. “Start with all three,” he said eventually. “Find out which one you are. Then stock up on that one. But you have to taste all three first or you’ll never know.”
The Marry Me Sauce Sampler is what they agreed on. One jar of each. All three Italian traditions. One box. Free shipping. $38.00. Nothing Says Have Me Like Marry Me — and this is where you start.
What’s in the Sampler
🍅 Marry Me Marinara
24oz · The Neapolitan original. San Marzano-style tomatoes, cold-pressed EVOO, fresh garlic and basil. Clean, balanced, the benchmark.
🌶 Marry Me Arrabbiata
24oz · Rome’s angry sauce. Same San Marzano base, slow-simmered red pepper flakes. Heat that builds and rewards.
🫒 Marry Me Puttanesca
24oz · Naples’ briny masterpiece. Kalamata olives, capers, San Marzano base. Savory, complex, unforgettable.
Three 24oz jars — 72oz total · All natural · Vegan · Gluten-free · No added sugar · Free shipping always
The Premium Foundation Behind Every Jar
Three sauces. One uncompromising standard. Every jar in the sampler starts with the same premium foundation — then takes a different regional Italian direction from there.
- Vine-Ripened San Marzano-Style Tomatoes — Grown in California using the San Marzano variety. Naturally sweet, low acidity, no sugar needed.
- Cold-Pressed Extra Virgin Olive Oil — Not seed oil, not canola, not refined. The real thing.
- Fresh Garlic & Herbs — Real aromatics, bloomed properly. Not dried powder.
- No Added Sugar — Never. The tomatoes handle it.
- No Preservatives — Just ingredients you can actually pronounce.
- Small-Batch Crafted — Made in Wilmington, NC. Not on an industrial line.
🍅 Marry Me Marinara
Neapolitan · Clean · The Original
Harry says: “If you can only taste one sauce this year, make it the Marinara. It has nowhere to hide — no heat, no brine, no additions. Just the tomatoes and what you do with them. And these tomatoes are exceptional.”
The Neapolitan original. San Marzano-style tomatoes at their purest — slow-simmered with cold-pressed EVOO, fresh garlic, and basil until the acidity mellows and the natural sweetness comes forward. No sugar to compensate for inferior tomatoes. No paste to bulk it out. This is what restaurant-quality pasta sauce actually tastes like, and it’s the reason the sampler exists: once you taste this, you understand what the Arrabbiata and Puttanesca are building from.
Make it the centrepiece of:
| 🍝 Classic Spaghetti Marinara
The Neapolitan benchmark. Quality pasta, warm sauce, Parmigiano at the table. Twenty minutes of honest Italian cooking. |
🍗 Marry Me Chicken
The dish that makes people propose. Sear chicken thighs, finish in Marinara with cream and Parmigiano. An iconic date night dinner. |
| 🍕 Pizza Base
Spread directly on dough. The quality of your pizza base is the quality of your pizza — this makes homemade unbeatable. |
🍳 Shakshuka
Poach eggs directly in warmed Marinara. Weekend brunch that takes ten minutes and tastes like it took two hours. |
🌶 Marry Me Arrabbiata
Roman · Bold · The Angry One
Mila says: “The Marinara is what you cook when you want to be understood. The Arrabbiata is what you cook when you want to be felt. Heat, properly done, is intimacy in a different register.”
Rome’s most iconic spicy sauce — and it earns the name. Arrabbiata means angry in Italian, and the heat is the point: not the kind that overwhelms and disappears, but the kind that builds slowly through the meal and makes every bite more interesting than the last. Federico Fellini put this sauce in his films. Romans made it a cultural institution. We slow-simmer the red pepper flakes directly into the sauce so the heat integrates rather than sits on top — the difference between depth and a sharp spike.
Heat level: Medium-bold. If you enjoy red pepper flakes on pasta, this is your sauce. Not a challenge — a conversation.
Make it the centrepiece of:
| 🍝 Penne all’Arrabbiata
The Roman classic. Penne’s tube shape traps sauce inside and out. Finish with fresh parsley and pecorino — tradition demands it. |
🍕 Spicy Pizza Base
A heat foundation under prosciutto and mozzarella. The upgrade that makes restaurant pizza feel pedestrian by comparison. |
| 🥚 Spicy Shakshuka
The heat and the egg yolk are made for each other. Sunday brunch that wakes you up better than coffee. |
🍗 Spicy Chicken Parmesan
Swap your standard marinara for Arrabbiata and the whole dish changes character. A sauce that bites back. |
🫒 Marry Me Puttanesca
Neapolitan · Briny · The Complex One
Mila says: “Puttanesca is for the person who already knows who they are. It doesn’t ask for your approval. The Kalamata olives, the capers — they arrive with a fully formed personality and they’re not changing it for you. I respect that enormously.”
Naples’ most notorious sauce, and arguably its most complex. In Naples they call it aulive e chiapparielle — olives and capers — which tells you exactly what it is: a sauce defined by the brine and umami depth of those two ingredients layered into the same San Marzano base as the Marinara. The original Neapolitan puttanesca contains no anchovies — that’s the Roman adaptation — making ours naturally vegan and authentically Neapolitan. Bold, savory, deeply layered. The one that surprises people the most.
Want the Roman anchovy version? Before adding to the pan, dissolve 2–3 anchovy fillets in warm olive oil over low heat — 60 seconds, they disappear entirely. Add Marry Me Puttanesca directly on top. Deep umami richness, no fishiness. Outstanding.
Make it the centrepiece of:
| 🍝 Spaghetti alla Puttanesca
The Neapolitan classic. Long noodles tangle with olives and capers. Fresh parsley. No parmesan — the capers handle the salt. |
🐟 Baked Cod in Puttanesca
The olive-caper brine amplifies white fish rather than competing with it. Mediterranean simplicity. Restaurant result. |
| 🥩 Braised Chicken Thighs
Low and slow in Puttanesca — the olives and capers break down into a deeply flavoured pan sauce that requires almost no effort. |
🫒 Stuffed Peppers
The olive-caper combination transforms the filling into something genuinely Mediterranean. A dish with real character. |

The Sampler That Gives the Gift of Discovery
Mila’s take on giving the Sampler as a gift: “You are not giving someone three jars of sauce. You are giving them three evenings in Italy — one in Naples, one in Rome, one in Naples again but from a different angle. You are giving them a culinary education in the most pleasurable format imaginable. That is a thoughtful gift.”
Harry’s version: “It’s the gift for people who already cook. Or for people who want to start. Or for couples who want a reason to be in the kitchen together on three different nights. It covers every case.”
|
🍝 Italian Food Lovers People who have opinions about pasta shapes will immediately understand the quality difference. This is the gift at their level. |
💑 Couples Who Cook Together Three sauces is three date nights. The best evenings at home are built in the kitchen. Give them the ingredients. |

Frequently Asked Questions
What’s the best order to taste the three sauces?
Start with the Marinara — it’s the baseline and the purest expression of the San Marzano quality. Then Arrabbiata, which builds on that base with heat. Then Puttanesca, which takes the same foundation in a completely different direction with olives and capers. That progression gives you the clearest sense of what each sauce is doing and why.
Does the sampler include free shipping?
Yes — always. Orders ship within 1–2 business days from Wilmington, NC and typically arrive in 3–7 days depending on location.
Are all three sauces vegan and gluten-free?
Yes on both counts, across all three sauces. Vegan, gluten-free, dairy-free, no added sugar, no preservatives. The Puttanesca follows the authentic Neapolitan tradition with no anchovies.
How many dinners will this cover?
Each 24oz jar serves 2–3 pasta meals for two people. The sampler — three jars — covers 6–9 complete dinners for two. Three Italian regions, nine potential evenings. The obvious approach is one sauce per occasion to compare properly, then stock up on your favourites.
What pasta shape goes with each sauce?
Marinara: spaghetti or rigatoni. Arrabbiata: penne (the traditional Roman shape — the tubes trap the sauce inside and outside for maximum flavour). Puttanesca: spaghetti or linguine — the long noodles tangle with the olives and capers in every bite. See our full pasta shapes guide for the complete breakdown.
